As a private investigator, you will be in many situations in which tinting the windows on your vehicle may be useful. Below is a guide to some of the occasions when having tinted windows can offer you a serious advantage. Read on to find out everything you need to know about the many benefits of tinted windows.
You often keep valuables in your car
As a private investigator, you likely have to use high-tech equipment such as cameras, mobile phones and laptops. The technology allows you to do your job when you are out on the road following a target. If you often keep valuable objects in your car, this could make your vehicle a target for thieves. It only takes a few seconds for a skilled thief to smash the glass on your automobile so they can snatch electronics or valuable clothing which is being stored in the vehicle. By tinting the windows on your car, you can help to reduce the chance that thieves will target your car. After all, if they cannot see in the interior of your vehicle, they will not be able to see the valuables inside.
You need to observe targets during sunny weather
Bright sunlight can be a private investigator's worst nightmare. If you are trying to observe or photograph a person you are trailing, bright sunlight can create a glare on your vehicle's windows. This can ruin photographs or make it difficult to see because you need to squint in order to see in the bright conditions. Tinted windows will help you to prevent these issues by reducing the level of glare.
You often have to drive around VIPs
If, as part of your job, you sometimes have to transport the VIPs you are working for in your car, you will want to do everything you can do to protect their privacy. VIPs are often targeted by paparazzi who aim to secure photographs which they sell to tabloid newspapers and magazines. Tinted windows are a great way to protect the VIPs in your care because the paparazzi won't be able to take these photographs.

Hello, my name is Sandra. I live in Western Australia with my husband and our two kids. I wanted to start a new blog so I could talk about windows and the joy they can bring into a person's life. I didn't fully understand or appreciate windows until we moved into our current home. It is a large place with plenty of windows. When I first stepped through the front door, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The light was amazing and the view made me want to cry. Having so many windows to look after has meant that I have had to learn a lot about maintaining them. I hope you enjoy my blog!
